Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane (capacity 10 metre tonnes and above) TLILIC0002

A Slewing Crane licence is a nationally recognised qualification that will give you the skills for roles that involve the safe operation of a range of slewing cranes. A crane licence allows you to safely operate a variety of these machines across the construction industry.

Pre-requisite

All students studying nationally recognised training in Australia are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).Click here to find your USI

There are no entry requirements for this qualification; however it is recommended that students have sufficient literacy, numeracy and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the course.

Work planning & conducting routine checks
Setting up the crane
Transferring/moving loads
Load calculation
Shut down and securing the crane
Duration / Flexibility
Competency-based training over 5 days

Onsite training 2-3 days formal training, 1 day practical training & up to 6 months logbook on the job
